Sister Mary Bush, former Stuart headmistress
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 19 in Teresian House, Albany, N.Y., for Society of the Sacred Heart Sister Mary Bush who died Nov. 10. She was 92. Sister Mary served as headmistress of Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, Princeton, from 1967-1973.

The diocese is mourning Father Daniel J. Ryan, who served as pastor of Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro, since 1999. Father Ryan died suddenly Dec. 24 at age 61.

Retired Bishop Edward T. Hughes of Metuchen, known as a gentle shepherd and a staunch advocate for pro-life issues and racial harmony, died of cancer Dec. 25 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, at age 92.
