Prayer for the 2025 Conclave

Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M., has shared this prayer ahead of the conclave beginning May 7.
O God, eternal shepherd,
who govern your flock with unfailing care, send your Holy Spirit upon the Cardinals gathered in Conclave and grant in your boundless fatherly love a pastor for your One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church who will please you by his holiness and show us your watchful care.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever. Amen.
