Harry R. Hill, Jr., former diocesan attorney, laid to rest

Funeral services were held March 29 for Harry R. Hill, Jr., a longtime diocesan attorney who died March 19 at age 94.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Ann Church, Lawrenceville, with Msgr. Casimir Ladzinski, a retired priest of the Diocese, serving as principal celebrant and homilist.

During his tenure with the Diocese, Mr. Hill provided legal counsel and services to four bishops of the Diocese of Trenton. He was also a member of the Diocesan Finance Council and had also been active in other diocesan-related entities, including chairman of the board of trustees and finance committee of the former St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, and the stewardship committee for Catholic Health East, the parent corporation of St. Francis Medical Center.
