The publishing team of The Monitor Magazine is once again pleased to present our annual celebration of the priests, deacons and religious men and women marking significant anniversaries of their ministry in 2025.
This year’s commemoration begins with Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., who is observing the 15th anniversary of his episcopal ordination. Look for highlights of his ministry and a Q and A interview in which he reflects on the blessings and challenges that have defined his episcopacy thus far.
Also, the close relationship that Bishop O’Connell has built with parishes throughout the Diocese of Trenton is on full display in a special section of parish messages. We hope you will take some time to read the many sentiments expressed by our parishes.
Feature stories on religious and priests celebrating their 50th and 25th anniversaries of ordained or professed ministry offer insight into what led them to say yes to God and how they strive to do his will each day in their respective roles. They offer us great inspiration and we encourage readers to get to know their stories.
