Death of John James Lukaszewski, brother of priest, announced

John James Lukaszewski, brother of Father Stanley P. Lukaszewski, a retired priest of the Diocese, died Feb. 18 at age 70.
Funeral services will be held Feb. 24 in St. Gregory the Great Church, Hamilton Square. Visitation will take place from 9 to 10:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30.
Mr. Lukaszewski was born in Trenton and was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Trenton High School, Class of ’72 and retired from the State of New Jersey, Department of Agriculture after 38 years of service. He was a social member of the Catholic War Veterans, a social member of the Polish Falcons, the assistant athletic director of the Cook A.A., and a coach for the Chambersburg Little League.
Mr. Lukaszewski was predeceased by his parents, Francis and Josephine (Calisti) Lukaszewski, and brother-in-law of the late Linda Kawalek.
In addition to Father Lukaszewski, he is survived by his wife of 38 years, Mary Ann (Kawalek) Lukaszewski of Whiting; his son John J. (Bridgett) of Fairless Hills, Pa.; a granddaughter; brother-in-law; a niece, nephew and great-nephew, many cousins and friends.
