Holy Saturday morning is time for prayer, special blessings

The hours between the end of Good Friday services and the start of the Great Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday evening are graced times of personal prayer and reflection. 

Parishes such as St. Catherine of Siena, Farmingdale, choose to hold a Morning Prayer service and blessing of Easter foods brought into the church by parishioners.
