New Jersey Catholic Charismatic Conference: 'ANOINTED' set for Nov. 15-16
September 16, 2024 at 6:18 p.m.
The New Jersey Catholic Charismatic Conference will take place Nov. 15 from 7 to 9:30 p.m. and Nov. 16 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in St. Mary, Mother of God Church, Middletown.
Father Jeff Kegley, diocesan liaison to the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, has announced that the keynote speakers for the conference that’s themed “ANOINTED” will be Dr. Mary Healy and Father Diogo Escudero.
Dr. Healy, a respected Scripture scholar, author and international speaker, is well-known for her ability to inspire and deepen the faith of Catholics worldwide. Father Escudero, recognized for his passionate preaching and healing ministry, brings a wealth of experience in guiding the faithful toward a more profound encounter with the Holy Spirit.
The conference is designed to lead participants into a deeper spiritual experience through a series of dynamic talks, anointed worship sessions and activation exercises. These elements will not only provide theological insight but also invite participants to actively engage with the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in their own lives. The conference aims to create an atmosphere where the Holy Spirit can work freely, resulting in transformation, healing and spiritual growth.
A highlight of the conference will be the Healing Service on Saturday evening, led by Dr. Healy. The session will offer attendees the opportunity to experience God’s healing love firsthand. Dr. Healy will be assisted by the healing team from the Encounter School of Ministry - New Jersey Campus, who are trained in ministering the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Together, they will lead the congregation in a time of prayer, worship and personal ministry, inviting the Holy Spirit to bring healing and restoration.
Father Kegley emphasized the importance of this gathering as a moment for the Catholic community to come together in unity and faith.
"This conference is an opportunity for all believers to be refreshed and empowered by the Holy Spirit," Father Kegley stated. "It is a time to be 'anointed' afresh, to experience the transformative power of God, and to be equipped to bring that power into our everyday lives and communities."
