Golden jubilee for Morning Star House of Prayer

Staff, friends and supporters of Morning Star House of Prayer witnessed a milestone as the West Trenton school of prayer marks 50 years of service this year.

To commemorate its golden anniversary, an outdoor Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated Oct. 6 by Msgr. Michael J. Walsh, a retired priest of the Diocese.
Over the years, the facility, which is operated by the Religious Teachers Filippini, has evolved to offer various kinds of retreats including directed, conference and private. Spiritual direction is offered as well as days of recollection.
