Funeral services for Timothy Michael Lynch, former school principal

Timothy Michael Lynch, a former principal in St. Raphael School, Hamilton, died Oct. 29 in Cooperman Barnabas medical Center, Livingston. He was 75.

Funeral services will be held Nov. 9 beginning with calling hours from 9 to 10 a.m. in Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Rd., Hamilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 in St. Raphael Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. Entombment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton.

Mr. Lynch was born in Buffalo and had previously lived in Annapolis, Md., and Trenton. He held a bachelor of science degree in history and a master of science degree in education from Canisius College in New York. He devoted 44 years to education, retiring in 2016.

Over the course of his career, he served as headmaster of Nardin Academy, Buffalo; principal of St. Mary Elementary School, Annapolis; headmaster of Oratory Preparatory School, Summit, and principal of St. Raphael School.

Mr. Lynch was predeceased by his parents, Norbert Vincent and Mary Alice Wolf Lynch. He is survived by a sister, Mary Augusta Lynch Widlak; nieces, nephews, a grandniece and grandnephew, and another sister, Kathleen Mary Lynch Burke.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Raphael School, 151 Gropp Ave., Hamilton, N.J. 08610.
