Immaculate Heart of Mary Sister Sandra Grieco, who served in the former Holy Cross High School, Delran, died Oct. 26 in Our Lady of Peace Residence, Scranton, Pa.

Born in 1949, in Lock Haven, Pa., Sister Sandra entered the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Aug. 29, 1971. She made temporary profession of vows June 2, 1974, and final profession of vows July 31, 1977. She held a bachelor of science degree in business and a master of arts degree in secondary counseling from Marywood College, Scranton.

Along with her tenure in Holy Cross High School, she served in several Catholic high schools in Pennsylvania and Delaware. She also served as a counselor and academic advisor in Neumann College (now University), Aston, Pa., and was the pastoral care coordinator in St. Joseph Center, Scranton.

Sister Sandra is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and members of the IHM congregation.

Funeral services were held Nov. 4 in Our Lady of Peace Residence. Burial was in St. Catherine Cemetery, Moscow, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be madeto support the retired Sisters of IHM, c/o the Sisters of IHM Retirement Fund, IHM Center, 2300 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18509.
