Diocese hosts orientation day for new Catholic school teachers

Some 75 teachers who are poised to begin new assignments in the Diocese’s Catholic elementary and high schools gathered for an orientation and lunch Aug. 20 in St. Gregory the Great Parish Center, Hamilton Square. Along with learning diocesan policies and logistics from Diocesan Chancery staff, the teachers were pleased to receive an unexpected visit from Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., who addressed the gathering and offered them his blessing on the start of the new school year. Staff photos
