• The Diocese of Trenton announced that the public Chrism Mass scheduled for April 6 will be postponed and re-scheduled for another date/time with the renewal of priestly commitment and the blessing/consecration of oils occurring at that time..
• Mount Carmel Guild, the diocesan inner-city Trenton agency that provides outreach to the poor, has canceled its 100th anniversary Founder’s Day celebration scheduled for March 29 at 1 p.m. in St. Anthony Church, Hamilton.
• The diocesan Department of Youth and Young Adult Ministries has announced the cancellations of its three scheduled presentations on “Nobody Told Me," a chastity event for parents and teens, with speaker Pam Stenzel. The presentations had been scheduled for March 30 in Holy Family Church, Lakewood, April 2 in St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square, and April 3 in Nativity Parish, Fair Haven.
• The diocesan Office of Child and Youth Protection has announced the temporary suspension of all Virtus training sessions.
• The five parishes that were scheduled to host 24 Hours for the Lord March 20-21 have announced updates to their schedules or cancellations.
- Mary, Mother of the Church, Bordentown, canceled.
- Nativity Parish, Fair Haven -- Father James Grogan, pastor, announced that the parish is offering a “scaled down version of 24 Hours for the Lord which will allow us to pray without undermining the important responsibility of social distancing.” On March 20, Eucharistic Adoration began at noon and continued with the availability of the Sacrament of Reconciliation until 6 p.m. On March 21, Father Grogan will celebrate a private Mass at 8 a.m., that will be livestreamed and can be viewed by clicking here. Following Mass, faithful are invited to attend Eucharistic Adoration, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, during which time Confessions will also be heard.
- St. Michael Parish, West End -- Father John Butler, pastor announced that the “24 Hours for the Lord” devotion will take place on a modified schedule. On March 20, Eucharistic Adoration will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Confessions will be heard from 9 to 10 a.m., 10 to 11 a.m., noon to 1 p.m.; 4 to 5 p.m.; 6 to 7 p.m. On March 21, the schedule of Confessions will be 9 to 10 a.m.; 11 a.m. to noon, and 1 to 2 p.m. The Rosary will be recited during four scheduled hours that are yet to be determined and will be posted on the parish website at stmichaelnj.com.
- St. Mary Parish, Middletown, canceled. However, the parish holds daily Adoration from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. On March 21, extended hours for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

- St. Gregory the Great Parish, Hamilton Square, has canceled its two-part presentation “Unity, Forgiveness, Healing – Transforming Hearts Through the Hearts of Jesus and Mary” scheduled for April 1 and 2.
- Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro, has canceled its March 21 Lenten Fish Fry.
- St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, Freehold, has canceled its March 24 discussion series on "Getting Older Ain't for Sissies – A Financial Perspective."
- St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Lavallette, has canceled its Vatican Exhibit on the Eucharist scheduled for March 21 and 22 as well as the presentation for students on March 23.
