Coming off the success of its first online retreat during COVID-19, Worldwide Marriage Encounter will again host a virtual marriage retreat on Mondays and Thursdays from Aug. 31 to Sept. 24.

The retreat is for Catholic couples of all ages seeking to improve their marriage and grow closer to God. Married couples, and priests and religious looking to strengthen their ministries can register at aweekendforyourmarriage.org or by calling Tom and Ruth DeFalco at 732-904-9636.

The only requirement for the program is a computer, iPad or tablet with access to the internet. Workbooks and hand-outs will be sent to participants before the start of the series. There is a $50 application fee, which can be waived for those with economic hardships. Good faith offerings will be accepted at the end of the program as well.

The Worldwide Marriage Encounter Experience began in Spain with Father Gabriel Calvo in the 1950s. The movement has since become well-known in the United States and internationally. The mission is to proclaim the value of marriage and Holy Orders in the Church and in the world.
