Thrilling Catholic school sports action in photos

It was an exciting week in sports for two of the Diocese’s Catholic schools.
On Oct. 23, Red Bank Catholic took on Toms River North at Shore Regional High School, winning the Shore Conference Tournament 2-0. It was RBC’s seventh SCT title and the first since 2013.
“This means everything,” Forward Reagan Pauwels said. “These girls deserve it. We’ve been working so hard, training so hard.”
The next day, Oct. 24, it was Notre Dame High School, Lawrenceville, versus Pennington at The College of New Jersey. The boys soccer team fell to the Red Raiders 4-3, but not without a fight, as the Mercer County Tournament game was a nail-biter going into overtime.
