Vigil Project to conduct Lenten mission in Tabernacle

Holy Eucharist Parish, Tabernacle, will hold a Lenten parish mission entitled The Vigil Project March 21-23.

The Vigil Project is a community of artists, musicians and filmmakers that produce multimedia resources for authentic encounters with God and growth in prayer. With a collection of original songs of worship, dynamic speaking and an inspiring experience of prayer, the mission will be an opportunity for participants to delve more deeply into the themes of the Lenten season.

The schedule of the speakers and topics follows:

March 21, 7 to 8:15 p.m., “What Do You Seek?” Presenter will be Vigil team member Greg Boudreaux. The Sacrament  of Reconciliation will be available afterward. The presentation is appropriate for middle school children to adults.

March 22, 7 to 8:15 p.m., “This Is Jesus” Vigil team member Andrea Thomas will focus on the depth of God’s love and how it is revealed in his son, Jesus. The evening will include a 45-minute presentation followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, accompanied by music by the Vigil Project. The presentation is appropriate for middle school children to adults.

March 23, 7 to 9 p.m., “Seeking and Saving” Concert, The Vigil Project band will journey through the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus through song, Scripture, video and testimony. The concert is appropriate for people of all ages.
