LIFE St. Francis is a program of all-inclusive care for the elderly, known nationally as PACE, and was the first program of its kind in New Jersey. LIFE St. Francis is contracted with Stouts Transportation to provide handicap accessible transportation for LIFE St. Francis participants. The two companies jointly designed two vans in their fleet to advertise the LIFE St. Francis program and Stouts Transportation. The vans will travel around Mercer and Burlington County on a daily basis transporting participants from their homes to the LIFE St. Francis Center, 1435 Liberty St., Hamilton, as well as to medical appointments in the community.

For over 50 years, Stouts Transportation, a family owned and operated business, has been providing charter bus services in the bus tours and transportation industry.

“We are very pleased to be working with LIFE St. Francis and to assist them in providing this most valuable service to seniors in our community,” said Harry Stout III, owner of Stouts Transportation.

Since opening their doors in April of 2009, LIFE St. Francis has continued to grow and currently has 160 participants enrolled.  LIFE serves frail seniors throughout Greater Mercer County, enabling them to receive comprehensive health care while remaining in the comfort of their home and community.  This program offers an alternative to nursing home placement.
