Toms River parish to celebrate 45th anniversary

St. Justin the Martyr Parish, Toms River, will celebrate its 45th anniversary on Nov. 10. Pastor of the parish, Father Mark A. Kreder said, “There will be several events to celebrate this milestone in our parish history.”
A parish picnic Sept. 17 on the church grounds at 975 Fischer Boulevard will include family fun games such as relay races, dodge ball, basketball and children’s activities. Parishioners will be invited to participate in a bake-off contest, and music from DJ Joe, a parishioner, will enhance the afternoon.
Other events include a retreat for women Oct. 4 given by Charity Sister Mary Joseph Albright on the topic of Our Lady of Fatima and the parish will host a Young Adults in Faith Holy Hour Oct. 20. More events will be announced.
