St. Francis Community Center offering ESL classes

The Educational Services at St. Francis Community Center, Brant Beach, will offer classes for high school diploma preparation and English as a Second Language throughout Ocean County. Three-hour registration periods are scheduled for Jan. 8 and 9 and include intake assessments and orientation.

Jan. 8 • high school diploma registration: (classes to be held Mondays and Wednesdays):

Southern Regional High School, 600 Main Street, Manahawkin, 6 p.m. in Bldg. 9/10, Room 7-1.

Holy Family Church, 1139 E. Countyline Road, Lakewood, 6 p.m.

Toms River North High School, 1245 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, 6 p.m. in Room F102, Door  37 near the Media Center

Jan. 8 • ESL class registration:

Southern Regional High School, 600 Main Street, Manahawkin, 6 p.m. in Bldg. 9/10, Room 2-1. (classes on Mondays and Wednesdays)

Toms River North High School, 1245 Old Freehold Road, Toms River, 6 p.m. in Room F102, Door 37 near the Media Center (classes on Mondays)

Lakewood Library, 301 Lexington Ave., Lakewood, 9 a.m. (classes on Mondays and Tuesdays)

Classes are provided by the Ocean County Consortium through a grant from the Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development and are subject to change.
