Seminar on organ and tissue donation

The New Jersey Sharing Network and the Parish Nurses in St. Catharine Parish, Holmdel, will host an informational seminar on a “Spiritual Look at Organ and Tissue Donation” May 4 from 1:30-3: p.m. in St. Catharine Church, 108 Middletown Rd.
Participants will learn how to save lives and restore health for thousands in need while offering hope and healing at a time of loss. Topics include how the donation process works and support through end-of-life decisions. Presenters include Wayne Fletcher from the New Jersey Sharing Network and Ken and Melissa Christopher, members of St. Catharine Parish. Fletcher is a family support coordinator with a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
The Christophers will share their story of kidney donation between a husband and wife that changed their lives less than two years ago.
