Princeton Parish to offer simple explanation of Holy Week, Easter Triduum
July 29, 2019 at 12:37 p.m.
The various liturgies celebrated during Holy Week and the Easter Triduum will be explained in a simple fashion during a presentation to be given by Msgr. Joseph N. Rosie April 9 at 7 p.m. in the spiritual center of St. Paul Parish, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, which this year will be celebrated April 14, and culminates on Easter Sunday, April 21. The Paschal Triddum, with triduum meaning three days, begins with the celebration of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday and continues through Good Friday, which commemorates the Passion and Death of the Lord, and Holy Saturday, when the Great Vigil of Easter is celebrated.
Msgr. Rosie’s presentation is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served. The spiritual center is located below the church and the parking lot is behind the church. For more information, visit stpaulsofprinceton.org.
