Parishes plan to mark St. Joseph feast day

The following parishes in the Diocese have announced St. Joseph Day celebrations:

St. Joseph Parish, Trenton, will hold a celebration in honor of St. Joseph from 1:30 to 5:10 p.m. March 18 at 540 North Olden Ave.

The day will include: Lunch, 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. followed by a presentation on dignity of work and rights of the worker, 2:35 to 3:40 p.m., presented by Father Neiser Cardenas, parochial vicar of St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton; bonfire and pilgrimage with the Blessed Sacrament, 3:45 p.m.; Adoration with Confessions, 4:05 to 5:05 p.m. and the day will end with thank you and sending forth, 5:10 p.m. For information, call 609-394-5757.

St. Benedict Parish, Holmdel, will celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph with Mass 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. March 19 in the church at 165 Bethany Road. Refreshments will be available after each Mass. In addition to the refreshments after the 7 p.m. Mass, there will be a Faith Formation Reflection and small group discussion offered in the Father Anderson Library.
