Mini retreat for married couples to be held

The diocesan Department of Youth, Marriage and Family Life will sponsor a mini retreat for married couples Nov. 10 in St. David the King Church, 1 New Village Rd., West Windsor from 2 to 4:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 5 p.m. and dinner from 6 to 8 p.m.

The theme of the retreat is “Hidden Treasures - Lessons for Marriage from the Parables of Jesus.”  The presenter will be Father Frank Berna, who currently serves as the director of the Master of Arts in Theology and Ministry as well as the Doctor of Theology programs at La Salle University. In addition to theology, he teaches courses in classical and contemporary spirituality. He has published articles on Franciscan spirituality, sports and spirituality, and Catholic higher education.
