Manalapan parish welcomes special visitor for Sunday Mass


The community of St. Thomas More, Manalapan, was delighted to welcome Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., who made a pastoral visit and celebrated the 11:30 a.m. Mass March 26.

Joining the Bishop at the altar were Father Mark Crane, St. Thomas More pastor, and Father John Large, parochial vicar.

After the Mass, the Bishop enjoyed greeting parishioners and parish staff.

Parishioner Joe Gerardi said those in attendance at the Mass “very much enjoyed the Bishop’s presence at our church.”

“It brings such a joy to all the parishioners’ faces when he arrives to celebrate Mass,” Gerardi said.
