St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, held its 40th annual Spring Gala – the primary fundraiser for the SFMC Foundation – June 2 in the Princeton Hyatt Regency Hotel. Pictured at the event, from left, are SFMC trustee James F. Bishop; Congressman Chris Smith (4-NJ); vice-president of development Norma Monaghan; president and CEO Jerry Jablonowski; Msgr. Walter E. Nolan, recipient of 2012 Spirit of St. Francis Award; Judy Persichilli, president and CEO of Catholic Health East; Paul R. Langevin, chairman of the SFMC board of trustees, and Thomas J. Moonan, chairman of the SFMC Foundation board of trustees. The foundation, established in 1992, exists to support the medical center and its mission. Congressman Smith served as honorary chairman for the gala, and Msgr. Nolan, recently retired pastor of St. Paul Parish, Princeton, and moderator of diocesan T.V. show, The Catholic Corner, was honored with the evening’s prestigious Spirit of St. Francis Award. “We are very appreciative to the supporters of St. Francis Medical Center who donate to our mission and assist in keeping our community healthy,” said Jablonowski.
