John Vincent Palmisano, son of Deacon

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Oct. 3 in St. Raphael Church, a worship site of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, Hamilton, for John Vincent Palmisano who died Sept. 29. He was 32.

Mr. Palmisano was the son of Deacon William Palmisano of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish.

Born in Bethlehem, Pa., and raised in Brick, Mr. Palmisano most recently resided in Trenton. He graduated from Brick Memorial High School in 2001 where he excelled on various sports teams in the Toms River and Brick area. He was a lifeguard in Point Pleasant during his high school years.

Mr. Palmisano was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann O’Donnell, Palmisano; his paternal grandparents, William and Gertrude Palmisano, and his maternal grandfather, John O’Donnell. He is survived by his three children, Zachary, John Vincent Jr. and Savannah Elizabeth; his father, Deacon Palmisano and stepmother, Joanne Palmisano of Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Rose O’Donnell of Toms River; one sister Donnelle (Gary) Flynn of Beachwood; two brothers Todd (Dorothy) and William (Billy) of Brick; his former wife, Kristen Palmisano, and many aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews and friends.

Burial was in St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood.
