Father Damian McElroy, pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Moorestown, was principal celebrant of a Mass of Christian Burial for his father, Frank McElroy, who died Dec. 5.
The funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 8 in St. Patrick’s and St. Colman’s Cathedral, Newry, Ireland.
In addition to his priest-son, Mr. McElroy is survived by his wife, Angela; a daughter, Fiona, and three sons, Colin and Aidan and Brian.
Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Newry.
