Father Richard Rohr and Friends: One Desire in Action

The Center for Action and Contemplation will host Father Richard Rohr and Friends:  One Desire in Action co-sponsored by St. Paul Parish, Princeton, Nov. 18 in Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton.

The session titled Action and Contemplation with Father Richard Rohr, Shane Claiborne and Alexie Torres-Fleming begins at 1 p.m. with registration.

Shane Clairborne, best-selling author of “The Irresistible Revolution,” and Alexie Torres-Fleming, founder of Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice in New York City, join Father Rohr for conversations on the intersection of action and contemplation.  This session is for anyone, especially young adults and students, desiring to live compassionately in the world from a stance of unitive consciousness.

The day continues with a welcome and introduction at 1:30 p.m. followed by action and contemplation with Fr. Rohr, 1:40 p.m.; contemplative action with Shane Claiborne, 2:30 p.m.; response with Father Rohr, 3:20 p.m.; break and book signing, 3:40 p.m.; contemplative action with Alexie Torres-Fleming, 4:10 p.m.; response with Father Rohr, 5 p.m. and concludes with a question and response at 5:20 p.m.
