The parish community of St. Anthony of Padua, Red Bank, gathered in faith and welcomed Father Alberto W. Tamayo, who was installed as pastor by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., during a Mass July 21. Ordained a priest in 2007, Father Tamayo has served as parochial vicar of St. Barnabas Parish, Bayville, and St. James Parish, Red Bank, and most recently as temporary administrator of Corpus Christi Parish, Willingboro. For two years, he also served as Bishop O’Connell’s vice chancellor and priest-secretary.
