These "book-ends" of the Bible give us a lens to understand everything in between - from the Old Testament prophets, Tobit, and Song of Songs, through the Wedding at Cana to the "Great Mystery" of Ephesians 5. Living marriage as a sign preparing for the eternal marriage is learning to live a tension between intimacy and awe.
