Elizabeth Donahue, served on Trenton Catholic Academy staff

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 30 in St. Charles Borromeo Church, Skillman, for Elizabeth Donahue, 64, who died July 24 in her Belle Mead home.
Mrs. Donahue most recently served as a student counselor in Trenton Catholic Academy, Hamilton.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., Mrs. Donahue lived in Westchester County, N.Y., for 40 years before moving to Belle Mead 25 years ago. In addition to her work at Trenton Catholic Academy, she was a long time member of the Mercer County Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, Lawrence Alcohol and Drug Alliance and Hamilton Alliance. In 1994, she was the recipient of the Doris W. Dealman Youth Advocate Award for the Somerset County Youth Service Commission. She was formerly the president of the Montgomery Township PTA and founder of Montgomery Safe Homes project. She served as a catechist in St. Charles Borromeo Parish and a volunteer as both an emergency medical technician with the Montgomery Township Emergency Medical Services and as an instructor with the Red Cross.
Mrs. Donahue is survived by her husband of 40 years, John; her daughter, Kristen; three sons, John, Stephen and Michael; one brother, and 15 grandchildren.
