Diocese welcomes seven new seminarians

With a new academic year set to begin next month, the Diocese of Trenton welcomes seven seminarians who are preparing to begin their studies and formation as priests.
The new seminarians will join the diocese’s current 27 men who are returning to the seminary this fall, bringing the diocese’s total number of seminarians to 34.
This year’s class of seminarians is comprised of six men who hail from parishes around the Diocese of Trenton, and one who arrived to the diocese from California.
All of the seminarians in the diocese will be divided among four area seminaries – St. Mary Seminary and University, Baltimore; Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University, South Orange; St.
Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood, Pa., and Theological College, located on the campus of The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C.
Following are the men who will enter the seminary this fall for the Diocese of Trenton:
Christopher Dayton, a member of St. Catharine Parish, Spring Lake, will attend St. Mary Seminary and University, Baltimore.
Michael De Saye, a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish, Freehold, will attend Theological College, Washington, D.C.
Rev. Mr. James Grogan, who is currently a permanent deacon assigned to Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Moorestown, will attend Immaculate Conception Seminary at Seton Hall University, South Orange.
Jason Parzynski, a member of St. David the King Parish, West Windsor, will attend Theological College, Washington, D.C., in the fall of 2014. During the year, he will continue his role as secretary to Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.
Nathaniel Pettit, a member of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, Hamilton, will attend St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood, Pa.
Christopher Pinto, a member of St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, Hamilton, will attend St. Mary Seminary and University, Baltimore.
Hector Ramirez, a member of St. Joseph Parish, Modesto, Calif., will attend St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood, Pa.
