Diane Marie Osieck, parish coordinator of religious education

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, for Diane Marie Osieck, the parish religious education coordinator, who died suddenly June 25 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was 65.
Mrs. Osieck joined St. Catharine Parish in 1975 and volunteered in the religious education program as a catechist until 1987 when she became assistant director of the program. In 1992, she was named the program’s director.
In addition to the religious education ministry, she also served St. Catharine Parish as an extraordinary minister of Holy Communion and as a reader for many years.
Mrs. Osieck was predeceased by her parents, John and Doris Andrews and her husband of 41 years, Alfred S. Osiack Jr.
She is survived by her three children Amy (Wiliam) Hoffner of San Diego, Calif.; Allen (Lynn) Osieck of Farmingdale, and Amanda (Paul) Zeremba of Concord, N.C., and three grandchildren.
Burial was in St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall Township.
