CWOZ retreat day set for April 9

Catholic Women of Zion Chapter 1 will host a retreat day April 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Holy Family Church, 1139 County Line Rd., Lakewood.
The day will begin with Mass celebrated at 8:30 with Father Michael Sullivan, pastor, as principal celebrant. Other highlights of the retreat include prayer, music, sharing, networking and keynote speaker Ana Maria Garcia, who will focus on “Loving Jesus in His Humanity.
Garcia is a Catholic lay evangelist who represents Good News International. She has traveled the state giving presentations at retreats, Communion breakfasts, women’s groups, workshops, seminars and parish missions conducted in Spanish and English. She has given witness at the Catholic Tent Revival of New Jersey, the N.J. Catholic Charismatic Conference and ecumenical organization. She writes for the Good News International website.
Garcia is the mother of three children and has three grandchildren. She is a member of St. Luke Parish, Toms River, where she serves as a reader and extraordinary minister of Holy Communion.
