CCR readies for Pentecost with novena, Festival of Praise

In anticipation of the Solemnity of Pentecost, the Diocese of Trenton Catholic Charismatic Renewal will hold a “Burning Bush Pentecost Novena” May 11-19 in St. Mary Church, 19 Cherry Tree Farm Road, Middletown.

The nine days will include 24 hours of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Each evening at 7 p.m., Father Jeffrey Kegley, pastor of St. Mary Parish and diocesan liaison to the DOTCCR, will offer reflections on the Holy Spirit and intercessions will be prayed.

On May 19, the Vigil of Pentecost and final day of the novena, a “Jesus is Lord!” Festival of Praise will be held at 7 p.m. Praise and worship, Adoration  of the Blessed Sacrament, prayer teams and a reflection by Father Kegley on “Return to the Upper Room” will be offered.
