Catholic Women of Zion marks 29 years with retreat

Catholic Women of Zion Chapter 1 will mark its 29th anniversary with a retreat to be held Feb. 10 from 8 a.m. to noon in Holy Family Church, 1139 East County Line Rd., Lakewood.

The day will begin with Mass celebrated at 8 a.m. in Holy Family Church by Father Michael Sullivan, pastor of St. Mary of the Lake Parish, Lakewood. The retreat, which will follow and has as its theme, “Hugged by Mary,” will feature presenters Carol Bulcroft and Colleen Kelley-Rayner.

Bulcroft has been involved in Catholic ministry for more than 34 years. She is the founder of Through The Eyes of Mary, an evangelical outreach ministry that is submissive to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. She has conducted numerous pilgrimages, lectures and retreats throughout the United States and Canada.

Kelly-Rayner leads a ministry, CKR Retreats and has been a retreat facilitator for 25 years.
