Parish honors new Holy Father's election by reaching out to the poor

In commemoration of the election of Pope Francis and following the new Holy Father’s example of ministering to the poor, St. Ann Parish, Lawrenceville, held a food drive to benefit outreach agencies that help persons in need on a local level.

Evening of song from opera, stage, screen

Hair 'cut-a-thons' to benefit Providence House

Throughout the month of May and into June, eight hair salons in Burlington, Camden and Ocean Counties, will cut hair to raise money for Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, Providence House Domestic Violence Services.

Educator of the Year

Margaret Kane, an English teacher in St. John Vianney High School, Holmdel, was named the school’s Educator of the Year for 2013.  The award is determined by votes of the faculty and staff at SJVHS.
