Annual seminarians' retreat provides refreshment to men preparing for priesthood

Seminarians of the Diocese gathered for a week of renewal, prayer and camaraderie during a retreat prepared just for them in Loyola Jesuit Retreat Center, Morristown.

Diocese to celebrate soon-to-be St. Teresa of Calcutta with Mass

Faithful from throughout the Diocese are invited to join Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., for a Mass of Thanksgiving to commemorate the canonization of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, a worship site of Mother of Mercy Parish, Asbury Park.

Father Delzell, longtime pastor of former Highlands parish, dies at age 92

Father David G. Delzell, a priest of the Diocese for 66 years, died Aug. 7. He had celebrated his 92nd birthday just three days earlier on Aug. 4.
