As Bishop of the Diocese of Trenton, I write on behalf of the clergy, religious and lay faithful to express our prayerful congratulations and best wishes to his Excellency, the Most Reverend James F. Checcio, Bishop of the Diocese of Metuchen, on his appointment by our Holy Father Pope Leo XIV as coadjutor Archbishop of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. Bishop Checchio has been a great neighbor and friend and will be missed by all of us in New Jersey. May God bless you!
