"We are here, shoulder to shoulder, around the altar that has shaped our lives," Bishop O'Connell said during the Sept. 17 Mass he celebrated on the second day of the annual Priests' Convocation held in Galloway.

During the convocation, which opened Sept. 16 and will conclude Sept. 18, the Bishop and priests shared camaraderie, enjoyed some downtime from their daily work of serving in parishes, campus ministry programs and diocesan ministries, and heard thought-provoking reflections by this year's keynote speaker, Redemptorist Father Kevin O'Neil.
