Deacon Ronald S. Meyers, ministered in Maple Shade parish

Deacon Ronald S. Meyers, a deacon of the Diocese of Trenton who formerly served in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Maple Shade died Jan. 6.
Funeral services will be held Jan. 17 in St. Germaine Church, Prescott Valley, Ariz. The Rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial following at 11.
Deacon Meyers was ordained a deacon May 8, 1999, by Bishop John M. Smith in St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton. He ministered for 24 years in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish where he was active with the volunteer ministries as well as the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults and food pantry. Recently he and his wife, Eileen, retired to Arizona.
In addition to his wife, Deacon Meyers is survived by his son, Steven of Los Angeles, Calif., and his brother, Lee, and his wife Debbie of Moorestown.
