February 19, 2025 at 2:01 p.m.

Helping people to deepen their understanding of how the Sacraments can transform their lives and encounter Christ in new and powerful ways will be the focus of a two-day Mission Experience to be held Feb. 25-26 in St. Paul Parish, Princeton.

Led by Father David Michael Moses, a priest of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Tex., the mission will include several tracks geared for particular age groups and populations.

The first presentation for middle and high-school youth will be held Feb. 25 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. during which Father Moses will focus on how Sacraments can make a difference in their lives. There is no fee to attend, and the mission will be held in the spiritual center. A Young Adults’ Reception and Meet-and-Greet will follow at 6 p.m., also in the spiritual center, and will give young adults the opportunity to network and hear a presentation at 7 p.m. in which Father Moses will talk on how young adults can experience transformation through the Sacraments.

The following day, Feb. 26, a “VIP Reception” will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the parish house which will allow attendees to interact with Father Moses in a more intimate setting. Tickets are required. To purchase tickets, click here. After the reception, Father Moses will host a Mission Talk at 7:30 p.m. in the spiritual center.

Father Moses is a 31-year-old priest who grew up in Houston, Texas. At the age of 18, he graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a bachelor’s degree. He entered formation for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, Tex., and was ordained in a priest at age 25. He has been writing music for nearly 20 years and has presented a series of “Concerts for Life” that have collectively raised more than $450,000 for organizations in Houston that help women in crisis pregnancies. Among the places where he has performed include the University of Houston, the University of Dallas, the March of the Surviving Youth, the House of Blues, Bayou Music Center and single-handedly won Music2Change’s Battle of the Bands. He is the founder of the Pilgrim Rosary project and currently serves as parochial vicar of Christ  The Good Shepherd Parish, Spring, Tex.
