The Diocese of Trenton’s pilgrimage for the Torches of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the closing Mass for the traveling torches, originally scheduled for Dec. 6 in Lakewood, has been cancelled.

Closing prayers to mark the end of the six-week Torches of Our Lady of Guadalupe observance will be recited in participating parishes across the Diocese.

All petitions collected from parishioners during the parish torch visits around the Diocese will be taken to the Basilica of our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico for the feast day of St. Juan Diego and the second annual Guadalupe Torch Congress on Dec. 9.

The Monitor will carry expanded local coverage of the Torches of Our Lady of Guadalupe on TrentonMonitor.com and the Diocese’s social media sites. Please check back.
