Pentecost Rally to ignite ‘Garden Revival’ in Middletown

April 28, 2025 at 1:15 p.m.

The Diocese of Trenton Catholic Charismatic Renewal will embrace the Holy Spirit June 7, as St. Mary Parish, Middletown, hosts a Pentecost Rally from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Included will be a Vigil Mass of Pentecost celebrated by Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M.

The theme of the rally draws from Acts 2:1, “When the time of Pentecost arrived, they were all in one place.” Organizers are inviting the faithful from all over New Jersey to gather as one Church, united in prayer for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit. The day will be marked by praise, preaching, teaching, Eucharistic celebration, and authentic Christian fellowship.

The event will bring together Catholics of all ages for a day of Spirit-filled preaching, vibrant worship and expectant prayer. A multi-generational lineup of speakers will inspire attendees to step into the power and mission of Pentecost. Father Jeff Kegley, St. Mary pastor and diocesan director of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, will set the tone for the day.

Also speaking will be Jim Tortorici, director of NJ Encounter Ministry. Tortorici brings his experience in forming missionary disciples and creating spaces for the Holy Spirit; his testimony and teaching will equip rally-goers to become agents of revival in their own communities.

Matej Živković, a former national leader of Unbound Ministries in Croatia and current Life Teen Youth Minister in St. Mary Parish, will share his journey of deliverance ministry and youth leadership. Matej brings a prophetic voice for the younger generation, calling them into lives of boldness, purity and Holy Spirit-led mission.

Serving as the masters of ceremonies will be Ramil and Kipsy Caragay, a couple known for their leadership of a home-based worship ministry, with a passion for building Spirit-led communities rooted in love and praise.

Adding to the lineup is Father Jeivi Hercules, a priest from the Archdiocese of Newark whose is known for preaching with zeal, wisdom and the fire of the Gospel.

Worship throughout the day will be led by Brianne Nealon, a worship leader whose music ministry has touched many and draws people into intimate encounters with the Holy Spirit.

A healing service will be held on Saturday evening. Led by the Healing Team from the Encounter School of Ministry – New Jersey Campus, the service will include prayer, worship, and the laying on of hands for those seeking spiritual, emotional, or physical healing.
