Held in St. Raphael-Holy Angels Parish, Hamilton, the convocation included Mass celebrated by Bishop David M. O'Connell, C.M., and presentations by two nationally known speakers -- Dan Cellucci, CEO of Catholic Leadership Institute, who spoke on "How we think about Parish Vitality," and Tom Corcoran, coauthor of "Rebuilt" and Lay associate to the pastor of Nativity Parish, Timonium Md., who focuses on "From the Pews to Serving: How to Increase Volunteers in Your Parish."

"Both of these speakers lead respected ministry-partner organizations that have helped Catholic parishes across the country to renew, revitalize and re-energize their efforts," said Terry Ginther, diocesan chancellor and executive director of Parish Life and Mission, which hosted the convocation. "CLI and the Rebuilt Parish organizations offer a full spectrum of resources and accompaniment services.  We are indeed blessed to have speakers of national-caliber and wide experience come to speak to the pastoral councils in the Diocese of Trenton to help us think about these important and exciting topics."
