Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, held its annual Guardian Angel Dinner Dance, an occasion in which the agency honors the selfless work given to those in need.

During this year's gala, held Sept. 25 in The Merion, Cinnaminson, special award recipients were: Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, Hamilton, Light of Hope Award; Debbie Riveros, Light of Hope Award; Seeds of Service, Corporate Citizen of the Year Award; Laurence M. Downes, Richard J. Hughes Humanitarian Award, and "Jean," recipient of the Client Achievement Award.

"This event is a celebration of those whose unwavering dedication and hard work help us achieve our mission. It also serves as a vital fundraiser, ensuring that we can continue to provide for our neighbors in need," Michael W. Herbert, chair of the agency's board of trustees in a written welcome message.

"Catholic Charities could not achieve all it does without the support, guidance and effort of the extraordinary individuals we are honoring this evening."
