“Very happy,” “Honored,” “Thrilled” and “Blessed” were among the sentiments expressed by staff and board members of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, when they learned that Kerry Robinson would be paying a visit on Oct. 25.

But once Robinson arrived at the agency’s main office on West State Street in Trenton, met the staff and heard about their many programs and all they do to serve people in need, Robinson said she was the one who was filled with gratitude.

“Thank you for all you do,” she said.

Along with visiting the main office, Robinson, who was named the CEO of Catholic Charities USA 14 months ago, also traveled to two Trenton-based Catholic Charities programs – El Centro, which provides resources to Latino families in Mercer County, and the Mercer Campus of the Behavioral Health Services.

More to come on this story.
