Bishop David M. O’Connell, C.M., joined the senior class in Red Bank Catholic High School May 21 where he celebrated Mass and then joined the school community for breakfast.

Following Mass, a special “clap out” was held in which the underclassmen lined the school parking lot and clapped as each senior proceeded through the line.

The “clap out” tradition was started three years ago by Msgr. Joseph Rosie, pastor of St. James Parish, Red Bank, and director of RBC High School.
