‘Brake’ the Cycle of Poverty planned June 15

In an effort to raise awareness about the work of the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, the domestic anti-poverty campaign of the U.S. bishops, a cross-diocesan bike tour will be held June 15.

The tour will begin with Mass celebrated at 8 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 137 W. Upper Ferry Rd., Ewing, followed by a presentation that will be held at 8:45 p.m. Cyclists will depart at 9 a.m. and travel to St. Robert Bellarmine Co-Cathedral, 61 Georgia Rd., Freehold, for a 12:25 p.m. presentation. Subsequent stops include the Jackson Knights of Columbus Grand Hall, 701 Bartley Rd., Jackson, with a presentation at 1:55 p.m., followed by Visitation Parish, 730 Lynnwood Ave., Brick, which will includes a 3 p.m. presentation. The ride will conclude at 3:30 p.m.
