The following parishes and schools in the Diocese of Trenton have submitted these events:

St. James Parish, Pennington, will hold a blood  drive in honor of Caroline Doyle Feb. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the hall/gym, 17 Eglantine Ave. To schedule an appointment, call 800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter Caroline.

Freehold Council, Knights of Columbus, will hold a “Kids Day” event for children under age 14 Feb. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the council hall, 70 East Main Street, Freehold. The day will include face painting, arts and crafts, a pine wood derby and Home Depot wood working. A magic show by the “Amazing Randy” will also be presented. Refreshments will be available. The event is free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Freehold Council, Knights of Columbus, will host a Valentine’s Breakfast Feb. 11 from 8 to 11:30 a.m. in the council hall, 70 East Main St., Freehold. Fee is $12 for adults and $10 per child under age 10.

The parishes of Lumen Christi Cohort 6 will host its third annual White Mass Feb. 10 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 East State St., Ext., Hamilton. The Mass is an opportunity to recognize persons working in any healing profession – physician, nurses, compassionate care ministers, chaplains, mental health workers, therapists, technicians, health aides, support staff, residents and medical students as well as friends, family members and supporters. Healthcare workers from all faith traditions are welcome to attend.

St. Joseph Council, Knights of Columbus, Riverton, will hold a Free Throw Championship Feb. 11 at 1 p.m. in Sacred Heart Family Center Gymnasium, 103 Fourth St., Riverton. For information, contact John Hall at 609-634-8750.

The Mercer County Federation of Holy Name Societies is offering a scholarship to a graduating high school senior who, with the senior's parents, are practicing Roman Catholics and members of a parish. Scholarship application forms are available through the parish offices. Applicants may call Wilfredo Serrano, federation coordinator and Scholarship Awards chairman at 609-647-8245 for more information. The deadline for submitting applications is Feb. 16. The scholarship award will be presented to the recipient March 17 following the 7:30 a.m. Mass in St. Raphael-Holy Angels Church, 3500 South Broad St., Hamilton. The Mass is in memory of Msgr. Richard T. Crean, a priest of the Diocese who died in a 1956 that destroyed St. Mary of the Assumption Cathedral, Trenton. 

St. Pio of Pietrelcina parish, Lavallette, will host a Lenten Bible Study on the following Thursdays: Feb. 15, 22, 29, March 7, 14 and 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church hall, 103 Washington Ave.  Cost is $12.
