Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Maple Shade, will host an American Red Cross blood drive Jan. 30 from 2 to 7 p.m. in Nolan Hall, 236 E. Main St.

In observance of National Blood Donor Month, all donors in January will receive a voucher for a free medium hot or iced beverage and a free Egg & Cheese Wake-Up Wrap redeemable at participating Dunkin Donuts.

Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, Hamilton, will celebrate World Marriage Day Weekend with a St. Valentine’s Mass and dinner dance Feb. 10 in the church hall, 3816 E. State Street Ext.

Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Sorrows Church followed by the dinner dance in the church hall. Dinner will be catered by Chiarello’s and live music will be provided by Meg Hanson Group. Wine, soda and hot beverages will be served.

Cost is $75 per couple. Cash or check made payable to OLS-SA with completed information including names of couple, email, phone number and check number should be placed in an envelope marked Valentine Dinner & Dance may be dropped off at the parish office or Venmo@LJPrendergast and include names, email and phone number in note. Reservation deadline is Feb. 5.

Lawrence Council, Knights of Columbus, Lawrenceville, will host a Lenten retreat Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Pope John Paul Community Room in St. Ann Parish Faith Development Center, 1235 Lawrence Rd., Lawrenceville.

Msgr. Thomas J. Mullelly, diocesan vicar for clergy and consecrated life and director of seminarians, will facilitate the retreat that has as its theme, “A Blessed Journey Through the Desert: Experiencing God’s Transforming Grace During Lent.”

The Ladies of St. Joseph Parish, Millstone, will host a women’s retreat Feb. 24 from noon to 4 p.m. in the parish hall , 91 Stillhouse Rd., Millstone Township.  Sister of St. Joseph Marcy Springer, director of Francis House of Prayer, Allentown, will present the retreat focusing on the topic “Without Change, There Would Be No Butterflies.”

St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Lavallette, will host a six-week Lenten Bible study Feb. 15, 22, 29, March 7, 14 and 21 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the church hall at 103 Washington Ave.

The sessions will give participants personal examples and practical suggestions to motivate and inspire personal transformation. Cost is $12. To register, send a check made payable to St. Pio of Pietrelcina and send to Dawn Rusinko, 103 Washington Ave., Lavallette, N.J. 08735. For more information, email [email protected].

The Marian Servants of the Holy Family will present a nine-week series, “Abide in Me,” based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from Jan. 30 to March 26 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. 

The themes, developed by Father John Wickam, will focus on spiritual growth to help participants deepen their prayer life. 

Facilitator will be Mary Ann Isaac of the Marian Servants of the Holy Family. She holds a certificate in spiritual direction from the Cenacle School of Spiritual Direction, Clearwater, Fla., in conjunction with Franciscan University  of Steubenville in Ohio.
